Justin Meseraull
Yearbook Edition
When asked what his hobbies are, junior Justin Meseraull comically says, "being a part of various organizations which run my spirit into the ground...my real job is school
which my other jobs don't seem to understand." Then smiling, he adds "I enjoy reading, swimming and choir. Meseraull, who joins the Andrews University population from Walla Walla, Washington, is a unique spirit on campus. When asked to describe his Andrews experience thus far, he says simply, "confusing," but goes on to comment with a casual tone, "well I enjoy it, I'd like to stay here the rest of my life like everyone else."
No matter how long he'll be at Andrews, Meseraull is dedicated like many students, to the fulfillment of the major that brought him here. When asked what he'd like to do upon graduating, Meseraull states, "right now, I'd like to go to grad school somewhere." He goes on to say of his major, "Technically it's [my major] accounting and business administration."
One interesting thing that fellow Andrews students may not know about Meseraull is that they have probably heard his voice at one point or another. That's right, Meseraull, who works with WAUS, has been a frequent voice on the station.
Though quiet and reserved in conversation, Meseraull has big admiration for those who impact the world. "Tolstoy, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr," are names that find his approval when asked to list his heroes. Meseraull also announces after some thinking, that his favorite president is Thomas Jefferson.
"I'd like to stay here the rest of
my life like everyone else."

Meseraull has put a lot of labor into his stay thus far at Andrews. Along with WAUS, he has held jobs at the Writing Center and the AU Dairy. He has also dedicated valuable man hours to volunteering at the Rec Center, becoming the supplier of equipment for any given AU student's pool game. Meseraull's various campus involvements are diverse like his past living arrangements. Coming to Michigan, Meseraull has lived in 5 states including Washington, Arkansas, Ohio, and Indiana.
Meseraull is very laid back and a good person to get to know, he always has a good line to offer to any question. When asked to list his favorite Cafe food, Meseraull bluntly says, "water."
