Biography:

Dr. Bauer has taught missions at the Seminary for many years, and is currently the chair of that department. In addition to his work at the Seminary, he has given years of mission service in Southeast Asia. His wife, Linda, also has a role in the DMin program, serving as one of the technical editors for DMin project manuscripts. Due to their past and ongoing activities in education and ministry in far-reaching locations, they are experienced world travelers.

Current Research or Professional Activities:

Dr. Bauer is the coordinator for the Global Mission Leadership concentration in the Doctor of Ministry program. This is offered only at extension sites to international groups outside the North American Division in a culturally contextualized environment.
