Final Honors Thesis Deadlines for 2012-2013

Deadlines for December 2012 Presenters

September 2012

• Seniors presenting in November 2012 must propose research projects by the end of September 2012

Monday, 12 November 2012, 5:00 pm

• 100-word project abstract due to Honors Office (to be printed in Thesis Symposium Program)
• Printing and mounting of poster to board must be completed
• AU Imaging charges heavy rush fees and may not be able to accommodate a last-minute request

Monday, 26 November 2012, 5:00 pm

• 1-page (front and back) Thesis Symposium handout due to Honors Office.
• Handout should include abstract, brief presentation outline, and a selected annotated bibliography

Thursday, 29 December 2012, 4:00-6:00 pm (Buller Hall)—Fall Honors Thesis Symposium

• Poster Displayed
• Thesis Talk Delivered: Presenters are expected to participate in the full session.
• Advisor-signed final paper copy of Honors Thesis due to the Honors Office; PDF file to be emailed by the same deadline to honors@andrews.edu along with release form

Deadlines for April 2013 Presenters

September - November 2012

• Write Honors Thesis Proposal and defend before Honors Council.
• Seniors presenting in Spring 2013 must propose research projects by the end of November 2012.

January 2013 and following

• Poster board available to be picked up at Honors Office

Monday, 1 March 2013, 5:00 pm

• Printing and mounting of poster to board must be completed

Wednesday, 6 March 2013, 2:00 pm

• Poster mounting deadline (in Honors Office with help of Ms. Sanchez-Martinez)

Friday, 8 March 2013, 1:30 – 3:30 pm (Buller Hall Lobby)

• Honors Poster Session.
• Presenting seniors are expected to stand by posters and explain their work for the full two hours

Monday, 25 March 2013, 5:00 pm

• 100-word project abstract due to Honors Office (to be printed in Thesis Symposium Program)

Monday, 1 April 2013, 5:00 pm

• Advisor-signed final paper copy of Honors Thesis due to the Honors Office; PDF file to be e-mailed by the same deadline to honors@andrews.edu.

Friday, 5 April 2013, 2:00 pm
