Aviation BT, Individualized Concentration

Advance your career by completing the bachelor of technology in aviation, individualized to your career goals.  Open doors to promotion with professional growth.  Applicants must have 5 or more years of employment as an FAA certified airman, with 25 or more semester credits to transfer.  All general  classes and elective classes are fully online, designed for working adults.

OUTCOMES

  • Demonstrate flight or maintenance skills by passing FAA examinations for individually chosen aviation major tracks

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience as an FAA airmen
  • A minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • A minimum of 25 transferable semester credits
  • English language proficiency if transfer credits were completed in a non-English institution

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates are well prepared and eligible to pass one or more FAA airmen certifications.

Graduates will be able to advance in careers in aircraft design, engineering and maintenance,  piloting or avaition leadership, depending on their chosen specialization. 

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

MAJOR: 60 credits

An individual focus in aviation flight or maintenance concentrations or combination thereof is negotiated with an academic advisor for approval by the department chair and college curriculum committee.
