We are proud to be able to offer swimming classes that follow the Learn to Swim model of the American Red Cross.

Our program offers:

  • Easy online registration for all Learn to Swim Classes
  • Lessons for all ages: 6 months +
  • All of our lessons are taught by Red-Cross Certified Instructors
  • Classes have great teacher to student ratios

The Learn-to-Swim program focuses on building skills one step at a time. By giving them the opportunity to master one element before moving on to the next, our kids' swim classes make it easy to build confidence in the water.

During their swim lessons, children will spend time on the following six levels:

Class Level Type Description Ages
With Parent Water Acclamation This class is designed for parents with infants. The parents will bring their infants and learn how to acclimate your child to the water.  6 months - 3
Preschool Basic Intro to Water Skills Works on getting kids to be more independent before starting the Learn to Swim levels.  3 - 5
Level 1                Introduction to Water Skills Students will learn how to feel comfortable in the water and safely enjoy it. 6 - 17

Level 2

Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills Children will learn basic swimming skills. 6 - 17
Level 3 Stroke Development Additional guided practice will help students improve their skills. 6 - 17
Level 4 Stroke Improvement Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills. 6 - 17
Level 5 Stroke Refinement Guidance allows kids to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers. 6 - 17
Level 6           Swimming and Skill Proficiency Students will learn to swim with ease and efficiency, and gain the ability to swim smoothly over greater distances. Swimmers will also have the option to participate in more advanced courses. 6 - 17
Adult Depends on Skill Level We offer adult classes for those who are older and want to learn to swim without being in a class with younger participants. 17+

*DISCLAIMER DUE TO COVID 19

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we recognize it can be a challenge to plan and implement classes. Safety and quality are of great importance to us, and we will always strive to keep our patrons safe and engaged. Currently, we are planning for in-person classes and taking the recommendations of the Health Department and Red Cross in adjusting our teaching methods and practices to maintain social distancing as much as possible and to take care in cleaning the facility and equipment, planning for alternative options if needed, and implementing our classes. Please stay home if your child is sick or quarantining and contact the coordinator as early as possible to make arrangements regarding your child's attendance. Please check back for updates, and we will reach out through phone and email when you register as well on any updates or changes.
