Learn to Swim

UPDATE FOR SPRING 2021: We are currently planning on offering Level 3/4 Classes and 4/5 Classes as well as Adult Classes.

Due to Covid 19 we are requiring that swimmers in classes be able to swim independently at least one length of the pool to keep physical distance as much as possible and to mitigate contact between teachers and swimmers. Please register for times available for these class levels.  Ages 8+.

*DISCLAIMER COVID 19
  • Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we recognize it can be a challenge to plan and implement classes. Safety and quality are of great importance to us, and we will always strive to keep our patrons safe and engaged. Currently, we are planning for in-person classes and taking the recommendations of the Health Department and Red Cross in adjusting our teaching methods and practices to maintain social distancing as much as possible and to take care in cleaning the facility and equipment, planning for alternative options if needed, and implementing our classes. Please check back for updates, and we will reach out through phone and email when you register as well on any updates or changes.
  • If restrictions tighten or closures happen before our classes start, we may need to cancel for the semester, so please check back for updates and we will communicate those as soon as possible.
  • If we start classes and they become required to go virtual, we will transition to weekly lessons sent out through email that will focus more on weekly exercises that can strengthen muscles used in swimming strokes, instructional videos going over different strokes and swimming techniques, research activities, and an interactive part of class as well such as Q&A sessions from questions sent in by you about pool operations, swimming, water activities, etc. Participation is still required by submitting weekly questions and short research/interactive content. (We will give details regarding this if we go virtual, although our first option is in-person classes)
