Speech and Hearing Clinic Services
Andrews University operates a Speech and Hearing clinic which offers a variety of services. These include assessment and intervention for articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders, as well as specialized assessment of hearing acuity and central auditory processing disorders.
The evaluations are supervised by academic and clinical faculty members, all of whom possess master's or doctoral degrees in speech-language pathology or audiology, and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
The majority of intervention is provided by seniors majoring in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology under the supervision of faculty members. Assessment and intervention may also be provided by faculty members.
Assessment and intervention services are obtained through self-referral or referral from a physician or other professional. Appointments can be arranged by calling (269) 471-3468. The office hours are: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mon, Wed & Thurs.; 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tues; and 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Friday. The office closes daily between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. for lunch.
Fees
Note: Payment is due at the time of service by either cash or check. We do not bill insurance.
Evaluations:
Basic Hearing $25.00
Central Auditory Processing $100.00
Speech/Language $50.00
Therapy:
Speech-Language $150.00* per semester for individual sessions (For clinical purposes, a semester consists of 10 hours of intervention plus a final conference).

From 31 North - The exit for Andrews University is 15A.
Turn right at the end of the off ramp toward Berrien Springs.
Andrews University has a new entrance on the left side of the road about 1 mile from the interstate. It is J.N. Andrews Blvd. (If you get to the stoplight you have gone too far). At the end of the entrance turn right.
Go past the Howard Performing Arts building on the right. At the 3-way stop, turn left.
After a few hundred yards, you will come to an unusual 3-way yield (roundabout); stay to the LEFT on the main road. (If you turn right at the yield sign it will take you off campus).
After the speed bump, turn left onto Administrative Dr which is the road that leads to the parking lot. You will go past the post office and bookstore on the right side before you enter the parking lot for our office. Bell Hall is the building beside the bookstore.
