The PhD program in Counseling Psychology at Andrews University uses a scholar-practitioner model. It emphasizes the well-rounded growth of students in physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. Training covers basic therapy skills, traditional and modern psychotherapy, and research experience. Students learn to blend theory with practice, preparing them to work with diverse individuals. The program encourages continuous learning and focuses on both regular development and specific physical, emotional, and mental challenges. It offers a supportive environment for lifelong growth in the field.
