Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
You might have heard a rumor or maybe you've tried to open the Masters Program page on our website; whatever the case may be here is the latest news. In January 2013 the department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology applied to The American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) for accreditation, in April of 2013 we received the news that the application had been approved! The was very exciting news for us because of all the hard work that was put into writing the application document. The plan is to begin the Master degree program August of 2014; but before that can happen ASHA needs to do a site visit which is planned for this coming fall. We are busy this summer with the final preparations for that visit , but are very happy to answer any questions you may have. For inquires about the program please contact the SPLAD department at speech@andrews.edu or 269-471-3468. A word about the Master Program page on our website. ASHA has requested that some of our documents be made available electronically for review before the visit. This page holds documents that are for ASHA's eyes only which is why a password is needed to gain access.
