THE EDGE - Student Wellness Program - Andrews University
THE EDGE is a new iniciative of the Department of Nutrition & Wellness, launched through the Nutrition & Fitness Student Association, designed to improve the overall wellbeing of the undergraduate student population at Andrews University. Based on surveys and focus groups, the main areas of wellness needs are:
- increased physical activity
- healthier diet
- better time & stress management
- Wellness Workshops
- How to eat healthy on a budget
- Stress Management - "Don't hold it in until you explode on day"
- Fad diets, food restrictions, health scams
- Protein - does it build more muscle?
- Wake up and get some sleep!
- The H2O effect
- Breakfast of champions
- Menu decoders
Co-curricular credit will be available in addition to the Wellness Points.

All Fitness classes meet in the FitZone unless otherwise noted!
