Financial Aid
First, file your FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Then, submit the following:
- IRS data retrieval on FAFSA or IRS Tax Return Transcript
- Andrews University Financial Information Sheet
- Copies of student and parent (or student/spouse) W-2s
- If taking federal loans, fill out a loan request form (renew annually). First-time borrowers will need to complete Loan Entrance Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note.
NEW FOR 2012-13: The IRS data retrieval tool on FAFSA has replaced the 1040 and schedules requirement. When you file your FAFSA, you may have the option to upload your tax information directly to FAFSA. If you did not or could not use the IRS data retrieval tool on FAFSA, we will need an IRS Tax Return Transcript to complete and package your financial aid award. You can order one at www.irs.gov (select "Tools"). Processing time is approx. 5-10 days, so don't delay!
