The Technology Support Specialist II is part of a team responsible for providing comprehensive, multi-tiered IT support for Andrews University employee and student computing devices, including department-wide and institutional-wide systems. This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of Plant Service by managing the trades foremen and work assigned to those areas. It also includes being able to perform trade-based work either independently or alongside other tradespersons. Also responsible to serve in a rotating on-call capacity for facility emergencies including overnight, Sabbath, and holidays.

They serve as second in the Plant Services chain of command following the Director of Facilities.

The Doctoral Capstone Coordinator will oversee and manage the capstone project for the OTD program. The DCC reports to the Program Director and will teach capstone courses, secure capstone sites, support the development of capstone mentors, and monitor students' progress throughout the capstone process, ensuring alignment with the academic program’s curricular design. The DCC will also ensure the OTD program's compliance with ACOTE capstone requirements. The DCC will work closely with the AFWC and other faculty members. This position requires frequent travel to various doctoral capstone experiential sites, so the ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to travel. 

The ideal candidate must possess a post-professional doctoral degree (OTD, PhD, DHSc, etc.) from a USDE accredited institution and be registered with NBCOT/AOTA. Additionally, they must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in Michigan, with at least three years of clinical experience. The doctoral degree may be in occupational therapy or a related field. The ideal applicant should have DCC experience .

The School of Social Work at Andrews University is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Social Work beginning July 1, 2025. Under the leadership of the School of Distance Education Adult Center and Online Student Services Director, this student worker will lead in marketing and student service tutorial video and social media reel development. Responsibilities include assisting with market analysis, student interviews, managing video content collection, video editing, and marketing use. All SDE student workers also serve in the Online Testing Center as proctors during exam weeks.

Plans and oversees production and marketing of scholarly books to secure the continued growth of Andrews University Press into a financially successful and increasingly reputable academic publisher.

The job requires a clear understanding of the purpose and procedures of a Seventh-day Adventist academic press, and a general political understanding of the academic and ecclesiological constituencies it serves. The job requires a broad general knowledge of Adventist theology, and an ability to analyze or conceptualize materials for publication that enhance and advance the reputation of Adventist scholarship and of Andrews University.

The editorial assistant will be participating in various stages of book production, assisting with projects such as a study Bible, a theological work on the Adventist understanding of death, a biblical Hebrew textbook, a forthcoming book considering Adventist participation in the military, and/or manuscripts being considered for publication. Applicant must be a qualified, full-time upperclassman (in an area such as English or Theology) or a graduate student at Andrews University.

Applicant must have superior written communication skills, with an avid interest in biblical scholarship and book production. This position involves a commitment that must be consistently kept in addition to academic pursuits.

Currently seeking student workers to assist my team by filling in. Must be responsible to work independently, or in teams, to clean the University Towers building and vacant rooms, as trained and directed by supervisor or assistant.

This "essential" work is available all year long, Sundays-Fridays, during holidays, breaks, snow days, and all through the summer months. Schedules will be set by the supervisor or assistant, and can be flexible, as coordinated with students' schedules, and advanced requests.

This person should be a trustworthy self-starter, who works quickly, diligently, and thoroughly, with a service-minded character of caring for others.

The assistant custodial supervisor works under the direction and guidance of the Custodial Supervisor.  Approximately 10-15% of the supervisor’s work week is spent in leadership and training and 75-80% is spent in personal response to custodial needs, routine duties, and projects to ensure clean, orderly, well maintained, safe, and attractive conditions for the residents and guests of the residence hall.

The Aquatics Program Coordinator is our facilities American Red Cross Instructor, Programs Coordinator and Rental Coordinator and is responsible for developing, implementing and managing our aquatic programming to meet the needs of our facility.
