Postprofessional (PP) Research Coordinator: Holds a faculty appointment and has administrative, academic, service, and scholarship responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the University and School. Responsibilities include teaching within the PP programs; planning, coordinating, facilitating, administering, and monitoring all PP research activities; participation in appropriate scholarly and service activities, and active contribution to the faculty team.

Postprofessional DPT Director (PP-DPT): Primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, facilitate, administer, and/or monitor all activities within the PP-DPT program, including supervision of PP-DPT adjunct faculty. Additionally, to work collaboratively with the DScPT and DScOT Directors and the School Chairperson.

A Postdoctoral position is available at Andrews University to do research in space physics.  Projects include wide-ranging phenomena at the Sun and planetary magnetospheres and ionospheres, including KH instabilities, solar wind-magnetosphere coupling, magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling, ionospheric scintillations, solar cycle and flare dynamics, plasma transport and circulation in the magnetospheres of the Earth, Jupiter, and Saturn.  Our research is characterized by a strong integration of theory, modeling, and observations. 

PhD in Physics or Engineering or related field

Maintains, repairs, and installs power on H.V.A.C. and refrigeration equipment in campus housing and university buildings by performing the following duties.

Maintains, inspects and installs all heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, fans, vacuum pumps, air compressors, vents, ducts, and pneumatic and DDC control systems on the university campus. Rotates weekend shifts to take call for emergency service calls including repairs beyond normal work hours as required. Must be within twenty minutes of the University for quick response when on call. Cross trained to operate automatically fired boilers, chillers and perform maintenance on chilled water systems throughout campus.

Constructs and repairs structural woodwork and equipment in establishment by performing the following duties. When on normal call rotation the response time to an emergency should not exceed more than thirty minutes.

Carpentry work of at least 6 months of hands-on experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Current valid USA or Canadian Driver’s License. Work safely with hand and power tools. 

This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of Plant Service by managing the trades foremen and work assigned to those areas. It also includes being able to perform trade-based work either independently or alongside other tradespersons. Also responsible to serve in a rotating on-call capacity for facility emergencies including overnight, Sabbath, and holidays.

They serve as second in the Plant Services chain of command following the Director of Facilities.

The Doctoral Capstone Coordinator will oversee and manage the capstone project for the OTD program. The DCC reports to the Program Director and will teach capstone courses, secure capstone sites, support the development of capstone mentors, and monitor students' progress throughout the capstone process, ensuring alignment with the academic program’s curricular design. The DCC will also ensure the OTD program's compliance with ACOTE capstone requirements. The DCC will work closely with the AFWC and other faculty members. This position requires frequent travel to various doctoral capstone experiential sites, so the ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to travel.
