W. Richard Lesher was a consummate Christian gentleman, highly respected for his authentic faith, professionalism and calm, committed leadership of Andrews University from 1984-1994. He died on Aug. 18, 2017, in Loma Linda, California. The campus will honor and remember him in a memorial service on Sabbath afternoon, Oct. 21, in Pioneer Memorial Church. His wife Veda and their family members will be in attendance. Alumni and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join via livestream.
