The Andrews University Center for Reading, Learning, and Assessment (AUCRLA) is committed to providing a safe, supportive one-to-one learning environment in which to:

  • assess what an individual's strengths and weaknesses are, determine what an individual knows and can do,
  • provide effective instruction that builds from what the student knows and provides an appropriate degree of challenge,
  • personalize instruction and intervention using the individual's own rate of retention,
  • intervene using a holistic approach, diverse strategies, Orton Gillingham based Multi-sensory approach, and various tools.

The United Way of Southwest Michigan has partnered with the University Center for Reading, Learning, and Assessment to make help more affordable and available!
