Andrews University is dedicated to providing excellent service to all individuals interacting on campus, whether they are students, parents, vendors, faculty, or staff.  Advanced ConnectionsTM was developed with the intent of cultivating and improving a culture of service to internal and external customers of an educational institution.  Andrews University is proud to offer this professional development opportunity to its faculty and staff. 

Advanced ConnectionsTM is a nationally-recognized professional development program designed specifically for university staff, administration, and faculty. It focuses on advanced service skills, teamwork, and problem prevention to enhance institutional and individual service excellence.

  • Advanced ConnectionsTM is not a remedial program. It contains advanced concepts designed to take service excellence to a higher level. It is about working together in teams to accomplish a shared mission, and to determine what service standards governing these interactions should be. It primarily focuses on institutional issues rather than teaching people to be "nice."
  • Advanced ConnectionsTM is not training. It is a professional development program that stresses participation through discussion focused on values and strategies. It does not teach customer service, but explores the critical role of individuals and teams in order to achieve service excellence.
