The TESOL Certificate Program is an intensive workshop covering the basic
language concepts and methods of teaching English to speakers
of other languages.
Participants register for the following seven credits:
ENGL 460—Linguistics (3 credits)
ENGL 435—Topics in Linguistics: TESOL Certificate (4 credits) *
* Students completing the TESOL minor must register for:
ENGL 465—TESOL Methods (2 credits)
ENGL 435—Topics: The TESOL Professional (1 credit)
ENGL 435—Topics: Teaching & Learning for the TESOL Classroom (1 credit)
Non-credit option available: $1,800
Credit option, regular tuition ($1,028 per credit)
