For Supervisors and Department Assistants:

Each year the Office of Human Resources provides HR Administrative Process Training to all campus departments where changes and new procedures can be shared, in addition to reviewing current HR processes.  This year we will mainly focus on the changes required for ACA compliance—it is a required training session.  It is CRITICAL that you familiarize yourself with the new ACA section of the HR website, and specifically with the ACA policy (see email from AU HR Affordable Care Act). Please be sure that you review the materials prior to attending training—and bring your questions when you come!

Additionally, the following important topics and procedures will also be briefly covered: onboarding, FMLA, workcomp, payroll and compensation.  

This training will require that ALL departments attend.  Please have one representative RSVP to one of the four identical sessions below. 

        Session A:  Wednesday, November 18, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

        Session B:  Wednesday, November 18, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

        Session C:  Thursday, November 19, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

        Session D:  Thursday, November 19, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

There are only 30 seats available for each session.  Snacks will be provided during each session.
