Happy New Year! Consider taking FDNT 240 Nutrition Laboratory this semester. This would be a great option for students who are needing one credit of Life Science, and it can be taken along with the FDNT 230 Nutrition course to complete the 4 credits of Life Science as part of the Andrews Core Experience (ACE). FDNT 240 Nutrition Laboratory provides the opportunity to discover innovative principles of nutrition science in a food lab coupled with developing a practical life skill that can be used long after graduation.

Course Description: In this unique course, students will engage both in lab experiments and hands-on learning experiences that will test and analyze specific nutrients found in foods, while developing skills to improve personal food selection and review scientific literature. Students will discover principles of nutrition science in the laboratory in a weekly 2.5–hour laboratory.
