    Garber Auditorium, Chan Shun Hall

The weekly 2018 AU student, faculty, and staff mentorship program for 2nd-4th-grade students, to improve reading comprehension and other positive learning outcomes, has begun.  Sessions are Fridays, from 12:30–3 p.m. Teams (3 individuals) are assigned classrooms where they build positive relationships, in an evidence-based progam to support student academic success and improve classroom conduct.

A Math tutoring program for grade 1 students starts, Wednesday, February 21, and will run from 1 - 3.

These are an excellent opportunity for students wanting to earn service and co-curricular credits. These programs will also help you to get the experience needed to work with young children who are eager to learn.

Volunteers accepted. YOU MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FORM AND RECEIVE CLEARANCE PRIOR TO WORKING IN THIS PROGRAM.

Transportation and other classroom supplies will be provided.
