Book Evening with Sigve Tonstad April 14

On April 14, from 7–9 p.m., Sigve Tonstad, professor of Biblical interpretation at Loma Linda University, will share about his books and lead out in an informal open-ended conversation followed by questions. The event will take place at the home of Deby and Alf Andvik, 4709 Lake Pines Ln, Berrien Springs, MI. RSVP to andvik@andrews.edu.

Books to be featured are "Saving God’s Reputation" (T. & T. Clark, 2006), Sigve's dissertation on the Book of Revelation; "The Lost Meaning of the Seventh Day" (Andrews University Press, 2009); "God of Sense and Traditions of Non-Sense" (Eugene, OR: Wipf & Stock, 2016), scholarly book on the theme of cosmic conflict; and "Letter to the Romans: Paul among the Ecologists" (Earth Bible Series; Sheffield: Sheffield Phoenix, 2016).

Sigve is currently working on the Revelation volume in the Paideia New Testament Commentary series published by Baker Academic. In 2017, he received the Charles E. Weniger Award for Excellence.
