Chief Justice David Maraga to Speak at Andrews

David Maraga, chief justice of Kenya, will speak for Kenyan Sabbath on May 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Garber Auditorium, Chan Shun Hall. His sermon is entitled "The Lord Helped Me—Psalms 118:13."

Chief Justice Maraga received significant news coverage after his Supreme Court decision to overturn the results of a presidential election. Maraga pursued this decision—a decision only made three times in recent history and made for the first time ever on the continent of Africa—delaying it until after sundown on Sabbath.
