International Court Traffic Change
The International Court/Garland Avenue intersection is being modified to help improve the safety of pedestrians as they head to and from Andrews Academy, Ruth Murdoch Elementary School or off-campus. A new street light has been installed at the crosswalk as well as a security camera.
Additionally, the traffic pattern at this intersection will be changed to a 3-way stop with one yield for those turning right onto Garland Avenue. This will be similar to the traffic pattern at the East Campus Circle/Timberland intersection. The attached map indicates where these signs will be installed.
This traffic change will be installed next week. To allow the campus to become accustomed to these new changes, enforcement of the new stop/yield signs will occur starting July 9, 2018.
