The Madaba Plains Project Celebrates 50 Years

A mini-conference was organised on Wednesday at the German-Jordanian University and at a community centre in Hisban to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Madaba Plains Project (MPP), the longest ongoing archaeological project in Jordan, which includes three archaeological sites: Tell Hisban, Tell Jalul and Tell Umayri.
