Notice from Campus Safety

Today, July 13, at approximately 12 p.m., a small electrical fire started on the roof of the Architecture building.

An extinguisher was used to put out the fire. Local fire departments and police responded, as well. Damage to the building is minor, and no individuals were hurt.

Because campus individuals had been trained to use a fire extinguisher, the fire was contained quickly, and building occupants re-entered the building by 12:30 p.m.
