Thankful for a diverse student body

At a time when cultural, religious and political differences are dividing people around the world, students at Berrien Springs High School find reasons every year to celebrate their cultural diversity.

That was the case again Wednesday at the school’s annual Cultural Awareness Day. The high school sets aside the day before Thanksgiving every year to celebrate cultural diversity. In some years, that means a big school assembly with student performances. In other years, students have showed off their cultures in classroom presentations.
