Adriana Perera is professor of music theory and composition at Andrews University. She is a prolific composer with her main interest being sacred music. The University Singers and the Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Zork, will also be performing during the second part of the program.

The title "Crossing Point. Songs of an Immigrant" refers to the intersection between people that come from different places in life.
