In-Person Worship During a Pandemic

Andrews University has a rich, vibrant, and diverse worship culture. This is largely due to the diversity of generations, ethnicities, and cultures, and is even affected by pockets of communities coming from various areas of North America. We have larger platform worship communities like Proximity & Impact Vespers, One Place & New Life Fellowships, and Pioneer Memorial Church. Additionally, our clubs and departments have less frequent and smaller but just as meaningful worship gatherings throughout the school year.

COVID-19 has been a huge disruption to the way we normally do things. Personally, I really miss our normal. Also, personally, I’ve realized our normal had some real deficits for engaging students into resilient discipleship of God. Let me share how we are doing this spiritual work during this special time.
