Scientists are vicariously living an out-of-this-world experience now that the Perseverance rover is on Mars. But there is so much more in store than just getting to the red planet. Space exploration brings the world together, more recently, together on a whole other planet.
One of the hundreds of scientists behind this mission is from Southwest Michigan.
