Dowagiac SDA Church Service, May 27

Michael Orellana, PhD, is the speaker at the Dowagiac Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sabbath, May 27.

Orellana is a professor of Biblical and Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology at the Adventist University of Peru. His sermon is titled “On Eagles’ Wings.” The message will highlight the exodus experience of ancient Israel and the way the Egyptian culture played an important role in the drama of the Exodus.

The Dowagiac Church is located at 410 Hill Street, Dowagiac, Michigan. Sabbath School begins at 9:30 a.m. and the church service starts at 10:50 a.m. A fellowship meal follows the service. All are welcome.

In the afternoon from 2–4 p.m. Orellana will present an archaeology lecture “Smoke of Wars: Archaeological Evidences of Biblical Battles.” Bring a friend and enjoy this interesting presentation.
