Biography:

Bonny Dent graduated from Andrews University with her masters of science in Physical Therapy in 1990.  Specializing in the treatment of infants and children, she received a Pediatric NDT Certification through the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association and a Pediatric Specialty through the APTA.  She taught entry-level Physical Therapy students in the areas of assessment and pediatrics for 15 years.

Because of a growing interest in Spirituality and its implications on health, she began to pursue this topic through literature review, a symposium to the APTA, and in research entitled, “Physical Therapists’ Perception on spirituality and patient care: beliefs, practices, and perceived barriers”, Journal of Physical Therapy Education, 2011.  Currently she continues to teach in the areas of spirituality and pediatrics as well as providing physical therapy to infants and children.
