Biography:

Dr. Hollingsead graduated with a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Andrews University and a Doctorate in education with specializations in special education, educational administration, and research and statistics from the University of Kansas. 

She has taught public school K-12 special education in least restrictive environments ranging from self-contained classrooms to full inclusion in general education.  She holds licenses in K-12 music, special education, and administration. 

She was a professor for the College of Education, Minnesota State University, Mankato.  Dr. Hollingsead was the chair for the Teaching, Learning & Curriculum Department at Andrews University from 2002-2006.  She was Dean of the School of Education at Bethel College, in Indiana from 2006-2009.  Dr. Hollingsead worked at Northern State University in South Dakota until her retirement in 2012.  Currently, Dr. Hollingsead volunteers for WIN! Wellness and teaches adjunct graduate courses for Andrews University.
