Andrews University offers a transitional DPT (t-DPT) program whose purpose is to allow the working clinician to gain the additional knowledge necessary to transition them academically to the entry-level DPT. Our On Campus format, especially for the international physical therapist, is offered in a full-time format that is completed in 4 semesters - 17 months.
The graduate should leave the program with greater skills in the area of medical screening, differential diagnosis, therapeutic exercise prescription, education and research. This degree will prepare the clinician to rise to a standard of care and practice expected of a doctor of physical therapy.
