Whether connecting with peers, participating in thought-provoking seminars, or receiving guidance from experienced educators, students are empowered to develop their unique voice and approach to spiritual care.
Professional Growth & Clinical Experience Opportunities
CPE students gain hands-on experience in a variety of dynamic settings, including hospitals, community wellness centers, rehabilitation facilities, youth organizations, and correctional environments. In these placements, students engage with individuals, families, and staff, offering spiritual and emotional support across diverse populations.
Students collaborate with professionals from different backgrounds, respond to consults and referrals, and play an active role in the care and support of those they serve. Each student is mentored by experienced professionals who guide them through the unique aspects of their placement, modeling best practices in care coordination and compassionate service.
Through these immersive experiences, CPE students develop essential skills in pastoral care, communication, and interprofessional collaboration—preparing them to make a meaningful impact in a wide range of professional environments.
