Faculty Technology Showcase and National Distance Learning Week
November 15 and 16, 12:00-1:30 Lincoln Room - Lunch Provided
November 15
In our November Faculty Technology Showcase, we continue the fall theme of Faculty Presence while celebrating National Distance Learning Week. An essential method of faculty presence is giving feedback to students. Guilherme Borda, an adjunct for undergraduate Greek, will show how he has created auto feedback for quizzes where students type in the answer. Randy Siebold will share how he uses the Checklist tool in LearningHub to help students track their progress. And we will feature a short clip from a Magna Workshop on faculty feedback: using tools to write feedback comments faster. Join us as we explore this essential component to great teaching!

November 16
We continue celebrating National Distance Learning Week with a second Showcase. In this showcase, we encourage you to bring your faculty team and review your online program using the Online Learning Consortium Quality Scorecard. Janine Lim will facilitate the review, encouraging you to learn from other online programs at Andrews University. Come for a stimulating sharing time!
