The Free Application for Federal Student Aid has opened for the 2025-26 aid year. Students and contributors can now complete the form using 2023 tax information.
Since last year, there have been changes made to the FAFSA. The changes to the FAFSA form include:
- expanded eligibility for federal student aid
- a more streamlined application process
- new terms and processes
