ESL Workshops: English for Conversation

We are pleased to extend the English language learning opportunities to those in the community who are not able to participate in our traditional intensive ESL program for academic purposes. To do so, DIEP will start offering ESL workshops for a reduced cost throughout the year. Each workshop will focus on integrated language skills with a special emphasis on conversation.

Who takes ESL workshops in DIEP? 
Anyone who is at least 16 years old and who would like to learn and improve English language skills can participate in ESL workshops in DIEP.

Summer 2026 DIEP Workshop This is an integrated skills workshop for the purpose of improving communication both in professional and informal settings. Please see the DIEP Summer 2026 Workshop schedule & classes here. A required English Placement Test (EPT) must be taken before the registration deadline. This summer, the tuition for the Integrated Skills Workshop is $1,500 (early bird discount: $1000 if you register by June 1st). This price does not include housing, food, textbooks, fees, insurance, etc. 

Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 Workshops The cost to take an ESL workshop in the Fall or Spring is $2,200, which covers the placement test and tuition. The cost of books is not included. To register for the next available ESL workshop, please click here.
