Missing Important Emails from Andrews?

Campus Announcements | Posted on August 2, 2018

Andrews University sends many official communications through your Andrews University email address. For students and alumni, these emails are handled through a Google email space while still utilizing the "@andrews.edu" address. (Faculty and staff emails are handled through a different system, and no action is needed.)

Some students and alumni choose to forward their emails to another location to read, but the way this was done in the past had some challenges. In the interest of improving the delivery of email and reducing the occurrences of the University being blacklisted as a spammer, Andrews University has changed the way email forwards are handled.

On June 24, 2018, after several notifying emails, ITS removed email forwards on the Andrews servers. Students and alumni may either read their Andrews-provided Gmail directly (directions here) or they may set the forward in their Gmail account via these directions.

We strongly encourage students and alumni to make sure that they are getting their important Andrews email messages through one of these options.
