Agribusiness

When you hear “agriculture,” you might picture tractors and cornfields. That’s part of the story… but it’s far from the whole picture.

Agriculture today is a global, tech-driven industry shaping everything from climate solutions and sustainable food systems to international trade and entrepreneurship. It’s where business meets science, innovation, and real-world impact.

At Andrews University, the Agribusiness program is designed for students who want to be part of that bigger story.

You won’t just learn how food is grown. You’ll learn how the entire system works… from production and supply chains to marketing, finance, and global markets. By combining courses in horticulture, animal science, and business, you’ll gain a well-rounded understanding of how to turn agricultural knowledge into real opportunities.

Agribusiness opens doors far beyond the farm.

Graduates pursue careers in:

  • Marketing and sales for agricultural companies
  • Supply chain and food systems management
  • Sustainable agriculture and environmental solutions
  • Ag technology, Ai, and innovation (AgTech)
  • Commodity trading and market analysis
  • Entrepreneurship and small business ownership

You might work with companies developing smarter farming technologies, help build more sustainable food systems, or even start your own venture.
