Come and Explore Andrews University

Graduate Student Visits

Come take a look! One of the most effective ways to explore our campus is through a campus visit. Visiting is a great way to get an up close and personal feel for student life at Andrews University.

Our beautiful University consists of 1,600 acres on the St. Joseph River and we have an arboretum with more than 500 labeled trees and 150 species. The campus includes 26 instructional buildings, four residence halls, four apartment complexes, three libraries, a performing arts center, two gymnasiums, a gymnastics center, extensive lighted outdoor sporting facilities, an astronomy observatory, a 50,000-watt FM radio station, an airpark and more.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet current students, professors, enrollment and financial advisors, and get your very own Andrews T-shirt while getting lots of helpful information about our graduate level programs.

Pick a day that works best for you to get a detailed look at the things that matter most to you. Use the calendar and information below to schedule a visit.

LIMITED TIME AVAILABILITY

We recommend coming during Monday-Thursday if you would like to see more than one academic department and to ensure you have time to get all your questions answered. At certain times of the year, like Spring Break or Graduation (shown in blue-green shading in the calendar above), it may be difficult to meet with an academic department on your visit to Andrews. However, if you are interested in visiting campus at one of these times, you will still be able to have a campus tour, financial appointment and meet with a recruiter.

When making your campus visit reservation, please keep our office hours in mind: we are open Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Fridays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (Eastern Time).

ACCOMMODATION

If you are coming and staying overnight, you will have two options for your stay: on campus or at a nearby hotel. Most of our guests stay in our campus guest rooms located at the Campus Center or University Towers, but if these room are unavailable Andrews will cover a two-night stay at a nearby hotel. You will also enjoy two days of on-campus dining (our treat).

TRANSPORTATION

If you will be arriving by airplane via the South Bend Airport, we will also make arrangements with our Office of Transportation for you to be picked up and taken back to the airport. Please note that Andrews University does not cover your travel costs to and from your home.

ON THE DAY OF THE VISIT

Whether you stay overnight, or just come in for a day visit, your first appointment will be with the Office of Student Visits in the lower level of the Administration building. Your visit will begin with a welcome session followed by a 55-minute walking tour led by current students. We will also plan for sessions with academic, enrollment and financial counselors.

Let us know when you’re ready to visit us and we will have everything ready for you.
