An incomplete may be requested ONLY due to emergencies and sickness. If needed, please talk to your instructor PRIOR to the end of the semester.

  • You should email the professor again, and copy the department Administrative Assistant, the Chair and the MDiv office for assistance. Again, don’t leave it to the last minute to make this request.

NOTE: CHMN560 Theological Field Education has been given an updated title, so beginning fall semester 2020 it will be CHMN560 Advanced Ministerial Development.

Have a question about NADEI Field Evangelism?

  • Contact Alice at the NADEI office - mcintyre@andrews.edu. There are a number of options available. Please work with Alice ASAP to select the semester and location of your Field Evangelism experience. This will help the MDiv advisors as you request help selecting courses.

Greek Placement Exam - For Summer Semester 2020 ONLY

  • The New Testament Department will accept as passing if the student earned a grade of C or better from an undergraduate Intermediate Greek course (must be from an accredited institution)
  • Those who have taken Undergraduate Intermediate Greek within the last two years will be recommended to attend the one week Review Session August 10-14, 2020. Please contact Rachel in the NT office to make arrangements to participate in the review session. sauerr@andrews.edu
  • Those who pass out of Greek under these criteria will not be required to take any further Greek at the Seminary.
  • The same principle applies to those who have only taken Beginning Greek in undergrad. They will be allowed to register to take Intermediate Greek in the Seminary if they have passed their undergraduate Beginning Greek with C- or better.
  • This is a one-time (Covid-19) provision for those entering the program for Summer semester of 2020, and for students already in the MDiv program, who need to take a NT core elective in the summer or register for a fall/spring course. It does not apply to anyone else except by special permission by the Department.
  • MDiv students who wish to take advantage of this provision must contact Mona in the MDiv office at mdiv@andrews.edu

 

Hebrew Placement Exam - For Summer Semester 2020 ONLY

  • If the student can show that he/she finished Hebrew II (Intermediate Hebrew), during last 12 months and received grade C+ or higher from an accredited institution will be allowed to take OT exegesis and/or OT theology classes during this summer semester (2020). All others are subject to the placement exams offered in August or to register for Hebrew I or II.

- Hopefully, Fall 2020 classes will be able to resume meeting on campus.

Due to the fact that languages are time-consuming and more engaging than regular classes, students are requested to take only one language at a time.
