Graduate Student Grants in Aid of Research (GAR)

Application Deadline: April 15

Graduate students may apply for a Grant-in-Aid-of-Research for up to $1000 to help defray their research expenses (e.g., travel for research and other research expenses). Twenty grants will be awarded on a competitive basis, with applications open during the month of March for use during Summer 2018 through Spring 2019. These scholarship grants are for the purposes of research expense reimbursement only and may not be used to fund student time or labor.

Expense Reimbursement: Recipients should use this check request form to initiate reimbursement for research expenses. Reimbursement process: (1) Student completes the form and attaches receipts; (2) Research Advisor signs the form; (3) Student submits the form to the Office of Research and Creative Scholarship (Buller Hall 234).
