The Office of Research & Creative Scholarship awards Undergraduate Research Scholar awards of $1000 to undergraduates involved in an independent research project under the guidance of a faculty mentor, in the mentor’s area of expertise.
The School of Graduate Studies offers graduate students the opportunity to apply for a Grant-in-Aid-of-Research of up to $1000 to help defray their research expenses (travel for research and other research expenses).
For graduate and undergraduate students who are giving research presentations (oral or poster) at a disciplinary professional meeting, such as the American Chemical Society meetings, the Office of Research will reimburse 50% of actual expenses incurred, up to a total of $500 per student.
