What is the TEAS?
Every student seeking admission to the Andrews University School of Nursing BSN Pre-Licensure program is required to take this exam. If you have taken this exam within the past five years and have obtained a proficiency score of at least 58.7, you are not required to take this test. Students may take this exam anytime in the year prior to their admission but must pass this test in order to be considered for admission to the Nursing program. Students may take the exam up to 4 times a year, but must allow at least 30 days between attempts. The name on your registration must match the name on the ID presented at the exam.

When is the test scheduled?
For the ATI TEAS testing schedule visit the ATI website.  Andrews University is no longer offering remote proctoring for the ATI TEAS test.
How is the test administered?
The TEAS exam can be administered online using remote proctoring via ATI or taken in person at a PSI testing center. 
How long will it take? 
 Plan on 4 hours maximum to complete the TEAS exam.

When will I know my score? 
TEAS scores are released on the same day of the exam.  Once you have your score, you may request for ATI to send a transcript with your TEAS score to Andrews University at nursing@andrews.edu 
How many attempts do I have for the TEAS test?
 How much time must I allow between attempts? You may take the exam up to 4 times a year.  Students must allow at least 30 days between attempts. 
How long is my TEAS score acceptable?
Up to 5 years. 
Where can I take the TEAS test? 
You may take the TEAS test online and proctored remotely by ATI or you may take the test either in person at any PSI testing center. 
What score do I need to meet the admission requirements for the School of Nursing? 
ATI competency score of proficiency of at least 58.7% 
 I am an international student, may I test remotely? 
The TEAS test is offered online and proctored remotely by ATI.  Many international students should be able to successfully test.  Prior to purchasing your exam, attempt a “Dry-Run” to ensure the Remote Proctoring with Proctorio will work in your situation.  After creating your free ATI account, you can find this dryrun assessment via the student portal  Test tab  Remote Proctoring Dry-Run.
