Required Orientation

If you are an international student with a student visa, you are required by the U.S. government to attend the orientation for new international students.

In the orientation, we will discuss important matters regarding your immigration status and how to maintain this status, and we will get to know you!

For Fall 2022, the main orientation session for new international students is scheduled for Sunday, August 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Lincoln Room (second floor of the Campus Center, which is labled building CC on this map). A complimentary breakfast will be served in this main orientation session.

If you are not able to make it to the main orientation session for new international students, there is an alternative session scheduled for Sunday, August 28 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Lincoln Room (second floor of the Campus Center, which is labled building CC on this map).

Please remember that the orientation session for new international students is required to maintain your immigration status, and if you do not attend, you will not be able to register for classes.

In addition to the required orientation for new international students, you will most likely be required to attend other orientation sessions. For information on all of the orientation sessions scheduled for Fall 2022, please go here.
