Enactus is an entrepreneurship organization that focuses on sustainable projects, giving students the opportunity to develop their professional, leadership and networking skills.
Our information systems students have developed apps, software and hardware solutions for nonprofits in developing countries, offering hope and helping to change the lives of people who need it the most. In 2019, a group of information systems and marketing students worked together in classes along with the Enactus team to develop an app for illiterate women in Burkina Faso to track and grow their businesses on their cellphones. This project is still growing and continues to be implemented in phases in villages with our support.
You'll have a chance to travel internationally to implement our projects like the one in Burkina Faso through Enactus. Experience a different culture, meet new people, see the world, understand client needs, then change the world.

Explore information systems principles in classes like Database Systems Design & Development, Business Programming, and Business Systems Analysis & Design. A favorite class among our students is Information Technology Hardware and Software, where they learn how to build their own computers staying within a given budget.
