Seminary Bible Memorization Award

Thank you for your interest in the Seminary Bible Memorization Award. This initiative is made possible through the generous support of a grant from Madeline Johnston and is designed to encourage deep engagement with Scripture among our University community.

Participants may choose from three memorization categories:

Category 1 - 100 verses

Participants who successfully complete the 100-verse category will receive a $100 award and an Andrews University Bible.

Category 2 - 250 verses

Those who complete the 250-verse category will receive $250 and a complete set of the Andrews University Bible Commentary (Old and New Testament).

Category 3 - 500 verses

Participants who complete the 500-verse category will receive a $500 award and a theological book written by one of the Seminary professors.

As a participant, you are expected to fully memorize the required number of verses corresponding to your chosen category. Verses may be selected from any book or books of the Bible. You may choose to memorize verses sequentially from a single book or select verses from multiple books in any order.
Participants may complete the memorization in any language of their choice. If their selected language is not English or Spanish, the participant is responsible for arranging an approved proctor for verification.
