Biography

Camille Graham is a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Andrews University and is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship at the Counseling & Testing Center. Her professional experience spans research, policy, and clinical work across Jamaica, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with a particular passion for serving vulnerable and underserved populations.

Her doctoral research explores how gender norms and cultural beliefs shape perceptions of childhood sexual abuse within a Jamaican faith community. Camille is especially committed to bringing together research, clinical practice, and policy to strengthen support and improve outcomes for children and families impacted by trauma, particularly in her home country of Jamaica.

As a committed Seventh-day Adventist Christian, Camille views healing as more than simply the absence of illness. Her approach is grounded in faith, compassion, and the belief that true healing involves transformation, restoration, and wholeness. Inspired by what Dr. Eric L. Johnson describes as “the psychology of God,” Camille seeks to integrate sound psychological practice with divine principles of healing and restoration.
