What is a new student?

• A new student is defined as a student enrolling for the first time in any college or a transfer student who is admitted to Andrews as an undergraduate.

Who qualifies?

• "Denominational tuition assistance” eligibility is determined by your sponsoring conference, union, or division under NAD Working Policy. This benefit applies to families whose employer-provided tuition assistance equals at least 70% of Andrews University main campus undergraduate tuition or receive the standard Andrews University employee undergraduate tuition benefit as defined by University policy.  Confirm your specific eligibility tier directly with your employing entity’s HR or education office, as eligibility criteria (including salaried vs. hourly employee status) are set by each conference/union, not by Andrews University.
• If you reside outside of the North America Division, please check with the employing entity to find what their policy is for tuition coverage for a dependent attending Andrews University. 
• Students approved by their sponsoring conference, union, or other denominational employer for an alternate housing arrangement — such as residing in university apartments instead of traditional residence halls — remain eligible for the Tuition Guarantee. Students over the age of 22 may be approved by their sponsoring entity to reside in the surrounding community. This approval is granted by the student’s sponsoring denominational entity, not by Andrews University; confirm your housing arrangement with your sponsoring entity before the start of the semester.

Does this scholarship include Andrews University employees?

• Yes. Eligible Andrews University employees are included in the Andrews Denominational Tuition Guarantee. While Andrews University's employee tuition benefit is structured differently from many denominational employers, they are eligible as long as the other program requirements are met. To qualify, employees will need to complete and submit the AU Tuition Assistance Form.
