About Dr. Hucks
Dr. Willie E. Hucks II serves as the Assistant to the President for Mission and Culture at Andrews University. In this role, he works across the University to help ensure that the mission of Andrews is more than words—it is a lived experience that shapes the daily life of students, faculty, and staff.
With a rich background in pastoral ministry, theological education, and cross-cultural engagement, Dr. Hucks brings a deep commitment to nurturing a Christ-centered, values-driven, and inclusive campus culture. He believes that transformation happens when people are seen, heard, and empowered to grow in their faith and purpose.
Dr. Hucks is passionate about guiding Andrews University in becoming a community that more fully reflects the character of God—through its mission, its cultural rhythms, and its embrace of diversity.
