Wind Symphony Christmas Concert

Enjoy a festive evening with music by the Wind Symphony, directed by Alan Mitchell.

The University Wind Symphony, directed by Alan Mitchell, will perform their annual Christmas concert on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 pm.

The first half of the concert will feature the Melody Shop by John Philip Sousa, as well as La Fiesta Mexicana by H. Owen Reed. For the second half of the concert, the Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, Flute Choir, and Brass Quintet will all play Christmas selections, including Santa Claus is Coming to Town, White Christmas, O Holy Night, Christmas Time Is Here, You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch, Greensleeves, Sleigh Ride, and Christmas Festival.

To conclude the concert, the audience will be invited to participate in a sing-along of favorite Christmas songs.
